Ozonated Olive Oil for Relief of Periodontal Abscess

A condition known as periodontal abscess that usually develops out of an existing periodontal condition. The bacteria that be present in mouth due to poor dental hygiene thrive in the acidic environment and cause gum inflammation and loss of bone around the teeth. These pockets eventually form in the bone which can be measured in millimeters with dental probing. They are also difficult to wash properly. If the problem isn’t addressed, more dangerous bacteria can infiltrate the pockets and cause the loss of bone and gum inflammation.

The most common method for alleviating a periodontal abscess would be to prescribe medication like Amoxicillin and Erythromycin to treat the infection. The gums of the pocket of the periodontal will be cleared of any waste and the pus is drains by dentists. This will relieve the pain that is present. However, the root of the issue is not resolved and without additional intervention, it could happen repeatedly.

The use of ozonated olive oils in this situation is extremely beneficial.

Ozonated olive oil can be described as extra virgin olive oil with strong medical-grade ozone bubbles pushed throughout it for almost one month. It has a thick consistency once refrigerated and is filled with the ozonides. Ozonides are long-chain molecules that have bound active oxygen or nascent oxygen within the molecule. Ozonated olive oil takes a long time to release oxygen from the molecules. Active oxygen kills viruses, which causes cell lysis of anaerobic bacteria , and kills yeast, protozoa, as well as a variety of others harmful microorganisms.
